Mission Statement

The International Community of Teachers of Mathematical Modelling and Applications (the 'Community') is a membership organisation that exists to promote Applications and Modelling (A&M) in all areas of mathematics education - primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities.

The Community, through its membership, research and other activities, is recognised as 'The International Study Group for Mathematical Modelling and Applications (ICTMA)' by its affiliation to the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction (ICMI).

New: Election of Elected Member of International Executive Committee.
A vacancy exists for one elected member after ICTMA 16. The election will be held at the Business Meeting at ICTMA 16. Nomination form and postal ballot form are available from this site. Postal ballots are only for eligible members not attending ICTMA 16. Eligibility rules are available in the Constitution, also on this site.
